OVERVIEW

The 26th Annual Meeting of the Thai Society for Biotechnology and International Conference is organized jointly by the Thai Society for Biotechnology (TSB) and Mae Fah Lunag University (School of Science). The meeting will be conducted in English, and it will take place in the beautiful and historic city of Chiang Rai, Thailand between 26th and 29th November, 2014.

The conference will emphasize the topic “3Bs: Biodiversity, Biotechnology and Bioeconomy” This leads us to use biotechnology in the changing world with understanding and benefit for our life.

This is one of the leading international conferences for presenting novel and fundamental advances in the fields of Biotechnology. It will provide excellent opportunity to establish network, share ideas and form partnerships with: biotechnology and private sectors, equipment manufacturers, technology providers, and biotechnology associations, research institutes, universities, consultants, individual biotechnologists and students.

The scientific program is designed to cover all aspects of biotechnology, topics but is not limited to, the following topics:

Dear friends and colleagues,

Thai Society for Biotechnology (TSB) have been organized the annual meeting on biotechnology and hosted by affiliate universities every consecutive years since 1989. The meeting point is one of prestigious Biotechnology events in Thailand where is the place for cross-disciplinary exchange, research-industry collaborations, students and a strong scientific program. So far TSB meeting also has good connection to other conference members in Asia including the AFOB (Asian Federation of Biotechnology), KSBB (Korean Society for Biotechnology and Bioengineering), SBJ (Society for Biotechnology, Japan) and BEST (Biochemical Engineering Society of Taiwan). This will be a good drive for the Asia and International biotechnology collaboration and will be part of the success of world biotechnology uniting in the future.

In 2014, it is a great pleasure "the 26th Annual Meeting of the Thai Society for Biotechnology and International Conference - TSB2014" which will be held on 26th – 29th November 2014 at Mae Fah Luang University, Chiang Rai, Thailand. The theme of conference will be “3Bs: Biodiversity, Biotechnology and Bioeconomy”.
